We maintain and operates new fleets of 2 modern Catamaran speedboats, all custom-designed and built for waterways in Phu Quoc by a joint Australian-Vietnamese Company to our specifications. We have co-developed an extremely safe, stable hull that permits effortless navigation of the waterways around Phu Quoc Island. Our Catamaran featuring two parallel hulls of equal size ensuring the most stability while cursing very fast.
As we often travel significant distances to reach some of the more remote, visually stunning sections of the Island, our boats are designed for maximum speed and are significantly faster than most craft in the area, utilizing extremely quiet yet powerful 2 Yamaha 200 HP four-stroke engines that are shipped directly to us from Japan. These engines are carefully check to ensure the minimize any impact on the local environment.
Les Rives is proud to be the only boat tour operators in Phu Quoc Island that strictly follow Yamaha Maintenance Procedures. After every 100 hours, we conduct the maintenance for our engines including refilling the oil, replacing the gear. And we completely replace every engine that operates more than 4000 hours. Importantly, all of our speedboats have complete international standard safety equipment including Red Cross first aid kits, ample life jackets and flotation devices for children.
