WHAT OUR GUEST SAY ABOUT US
A little bit pricey for the speedboat but well worth as I could not imagine going on the minibus there! The speed boat was awesome fun being able to see the life of the fisherman around Vietnam and also nice having a solid breeze coming through in the hot season. Our tour guide had excellent English and was very funny. He took us around the cu chi tunnels which was jaw dropping the amount of facts he knew. Ended up climbing through the whole 100m of the tunnel - would not do if you are claustrophobic but ended up being a highlight moment - lunch was also amazing . Would definitely recommend if you have the $$

We took the day tour of the Mekong Delta. We booked it the night before at our hotel (for the same price as if we went directly). This tour is eight hours long. We started down the Saigon river, with picturesque views of the city. We then traveled on a natural canal for about 30 minutes. We then made it to the Mekong Delta. Along the way, we stopped at a temple and a pagoda, went through a riverside market, visited a rice farm, and had a delicious lunch in a village. The tour guide was exceptional with his knowledge of agriculture and religion, and his sense of humor was much appreciated. It was an unforgettable experience.

You can get to the Cu Chi Tunnels by bus. Or you can get there by boat. And I would say the only real way to get there is by boat with Les Rives. The boat trip is really nice. And Les Rives do more than you could expect. They serve a sandwich and fruit for breakfast. And you can even drink as many soft drinks or water as you like. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the place. After the trip we got a nice lunch before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. So if you are planning to go to the Cu Chi Tunnels the boat trip with Les Rives is very recommendable.

Skip the bus trips and take this speed boat tour. No sense wasting time in traffic. The boat ride out from the Saigon River to the Delta is amazing. Enjoy an educational trip through a market, pagoda, a short canoe trip (which ends just when you get comfortable – I wished it was longer), authentic Vietnamese food at lunch in the home of a local farm owner. Our guide Kha was excellent, regularly stopping and telling us about everything. He answered all our questions and did so with a surprising southern American accent and quirky sense of humour. The rest of the crew were well trained and pleasant especially our “cook” who beautifully presented us with fruit selections to try throughout the day.

We used les rives for a morning cu chi tunnels experience. We got picked up promptly at 7am in a luxury mini bus and transferred to the boat. The speedboat was lovely and spacious, we were offered drinks, fruit and a breakfast roll and given a running commentary as we speed down the river. Kanga our tour guide was very knowledgable and funny throughout the trip and in the cu chi tunnels. After cu chi we had lunch provided on the river bank which was delicious and plentiful. We then sped back and was dropped at the hotel. They thought of everything and it was an amazing experience, would highly recommend les rives.
